About Us
The Monterey Corridor Business Association (MCBA) offers a range of valuable services to support and uplift local businesses. With a dedicated focus on enhancing the economic vitality of the Monterey Corridor, the association provides resources and assistance to its members. These services include networking opportunities, business promotion and marketing, advocacy and representation, educational workshops and seminars, and access to valuable industry information. In partnership with the Office of Economic Development and by fostering collaboration and community engagement, MCBA plays a crucial role in driving the success and growth of businesses along the Monterey Corridor in San Jose.

Economic Development
MCBA focuses on fostering a thriving business community and enhancing the local economy. Through strategic initiatives, partnerships, and advocacy, we attract investment, create job opportunities, and promote sustainable growth along the historic Monterey Corridor. By supporting businesses, fostering innovation, and collaborating with stakeholders, they drive economic prosperity and strengthen the overall vitality of the corridor.
Business Community Building
MCBA prioritizes business community building by fostering connections, organizing events, and facilitating networking opportunities. Through these efforts, the association creates a strong sense of community and enhances the well-being of businesses, residents, and stakeholders along the corridor.
Advocacy
MCBA advocates for the businesses of the district. It is important that the board of directors reflect the needs of our business community and liaises with city hall, including councilmembers, mayor, and the Office of Economic Development. This could include advocating for resources as well as policy items.
Guest Speakers
Inviting guest speakers to the board meeting enriches discussions, brings fresh perspectives, and strengthens connections with industry leaders for the benefit of the corridor's businesses and stakeholders.
Business Walks
MCBA's business walks fosters engagement, collaboration, and insights among local businesses. Representatives visit businesses, engage in meaningful conversations, and identify areas for improvement, strengthening the business environment in the Monterey Corridor.
Discussions
MCBA's board meetings facilitate productive discussions, decision-making, and strategic planning to drive the growth and success of businesses in the corridor.
